I hadn't been here in so many years so I stopped in to try out something new. I had tried the jerk chicken and oxtails in the past (both quite tasty) so I wanted to try something new this time. Was going to get the brown stew chicken but they had sold out for the day. Ended up grabbing the curry goat with some rice and greens. The woman working inside was very helpful when I wasn't sure what to get once the brown stew chicken was sold out. So the goat was on the bone, which is how I feel it should be personally but to each their own if you don't. It was incredibly tender and there was zero hint of gamey or irregular flavors at all. I once had goat at a friend's family gathering years back and it was terribly gamey so I've avoided it since. This was nothing like that at all. The curry sauce was delicious. If you are someone who says you don't like curry and it's based off trying curry from Indian spots or Thai or something...this is not the same. The collards were good but not what I was expecting at all. I'm used to the greens from the south so I anticipated a heavier vinegar presence and a different texture. I think I prefer the southern greens but that's just what I know all my life so I lean that way. These were still tasty! Paid $14 for this platter but it is a two meal box for sure. I'd absolutely pay that any day of the week (a drink came with it as well) and I can't wait to get back. Royal Caribbean Island Delights - Didn't Suck!

I've been eating from here for about a year. Coming from nyc it was hard to find an authentic Caribbean place that makes bangin oxtails. I never heard of curry oxtails EVER! When I tell you everything on the menu will light up your taste buds, don't walk run! There is no place in north east Pennsylvania or even Jersey that can touch this gem. If I know you put your foot in it was a person this is it , the owner delivers. I had them cater my graduation celebration, when I tell you everybody couldn't stop eating, I was almost pissed I didn't have left overs! The serving size for catering or even a single order is perfection! The price is spot on and the location is so perfect 10/10!! I would drag everyone I know here if I had a chance. Ambiance included!

The Curry Chicken with rice and cabbage was amazing!!! Tender and tasty!!! Will be coming back to try something else but doubt it can beat this! WOW!

I was in the area for a couple days and I wanted to stop by. This was my first time visiting the physical location as one of my good friends brought me beef patty with cocoabread the day I moved into my house. Aside from the fact it was a life saver back in 2018 on that move day, the combination of a patty and cocoabread is a true staple of Jamaican food. Fast forward 4 years and here I am staying within walking distance of this restaurant. I was able to talk with Charles over the phone who was professional and as friendly as a friend of the family which I can't stress enough how important good customer service in compliment to the actually product. I ordered the classic safest most important thing in a Jamaican restaurant - Jerk Chicken plate, along with that beef patty and coco bread. Food was ready within 10 mins of placing the order. Got back to my place and opened up. Passed the smell taste. It came with a healthy serving of chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. Here's what I enjoyed about the chicken: - it was slow cooked. If I want slow cooked I'll get some stew chicken. - it had heat. Knock offs will just add a bunch of sauce. They clearly dry seasoned and wet marinated chicken, and didn't just throw jerk sauce and call it a day. Brought me back to Montego Bay. You could taste the flavor to the bone. - the pepper sauce... very good!!! I like some heat on my food and it delivered. For anybody in the East Stroudsburg area, this is a great spot. If you're an ESU student, you should be experiencing this food on the frequent basis! I'll go back again if given the opportunity. And I'll recommend this to anyone looking for good food!

I work next door and was ready to try something new and WOW. This food is beyond words. I got the jerk pork with rice and cabbage. I'm full but I'll keep eating it's so good. The picture doesn't do it justice. 1000/10 recommend trying this place if you haven't yet!

The food is very good, the service and staff were great. I got the oxtail platter, beef patty with coco bread, and asked for curry goat, these are my test choices when checking out a new place at 12:40pm they didn't have any goat, or jerk chicken. I must say I saw that the place was small but opted for one of their three tables. You do get a free can of soda or bottle of water with your platter. The food was very good, I ordered two curry chicken patties to go. The small ox tail was almost 16.00 which is why it was not 5 stars. The amount of food was more like an 11. Oxtail meal. I know that the tails cost more...but they were not superb or good portions.
